Why vegans can't decide whether they're allowed to... →
Pretty random article, but it introduced me to the term “flexitarian”, and I like it, it’s not that I won’t it meat, it’s that I try not to.  Still, if I crave it, or if someone has prepared it unknowingly for me, I’ll gladly enjoy it. Flexitarian.

Why are there no green stars? | Bad Astronomy |... →
In fact, any time of the year you can find colors in the sky. Most stars look white, but the brightest ones show color. Red, orange, yellow, blue… almost all the colors of the rainbow. But hey, wait a sec. Where are the green stars? Shouldn’t we see them?

What?
Hellboy II Saw this awhile ago, action packed, lacking the dramedy that made the first so appealing (with a couple important cast members missing), worth watching, sneaks in at 3 stars. In other news: In case that last post wasn’t a sign, I’m cutting back on my meat consumption again, I’ve been mostly vegetarian before, though I don’t generally call myself vegetarian, since I’ll eat...

Views of Jupiter - The Big Picture - Boston.com →
Jupiter is in the news again, this time because its “Baby Red Spot” - a storm less than a year old - appears to have been swallowed up by the massive storm known as the Great Red Spot. This is good occasion to share some of the best photographs of Jupiter and its larger system of rings and moons, as seen by various probes and telescopes over the past 30 years Awesome images!

LAist: It was the Biggest UCLA Undie Run Yet →
As tradition in years past with LAist, we visited the tri-annual UCLA Undie Run last month for the Spring Quarter midnight event just prior to graduation. To say the least, the party was massively huge. It took just under 20 minutes for the thousands of students to get through the Strathmore tunnel.

Graffiti snails roaming London | Metro.co.uk →
Most people have to shell out to give their homes a makeover – not so for these multi-coloured molluscs. The flashy snails have had their drab shells given a paint job for nothing – and they didn’t even have to move a muscle.

More Movies.
Wall-E: a good solid 3, highly entertaining, very pretty, and the short before was pixars best ever. lack of 5 star due to the humans render job, blah blah blah it’s hard to make people look good, they aren’t even trying anymore. Still enjoy the show :-) Hancock: the first half was 5 star, the second half was 0, and the end of a film is worth more, thus Will Smith earns a big 2,...

“Scientists say they can now build near-perfect replications of a human being, and that they finally have the technology to bring the inanimate to life. Scientists are liars. Here are seven robots that reached for “life-like,” and came up with a big handful of your worst nightmares.” Robots are so AWESOME! I want nightmares like that!
